Scherzer Is looking For Another Strong Outing

The Washington Nationals are leading the National League East by 9.5 over the Braves 
and they have a strong offense a couple of dominating starters. 
They do have issues in the bullpen, but otherwise, this is one of the best teams in the league. 
One of their dominating starters has been Max Scherzer and 
he has been the hottest pitcher in the league of late as he has gone 6-2 with a 0.90 ERA in his last eight starts. 
He is well on his way to a Cy Young award and for the year is now 10-5 with a 1.94 ERA in 17 starts on the year, 
including 3-3 with a 2.58 ERA in seven starts here at home. 
Scherzer has gone 21-12 with a 2.70 ERA in 42 career starts in July and 
he is 16-13 with a 2.95 ERA in 38 career starts here at Nationals Park, 
while against the Braves in his career he has gone 6-4 with a 3.48 ERA in 14 games (12 starts).   

Washington has been a very good offensive team this year so far as 
they come in ranked 3rd in the league in scoring, putting up 5.55 rpg, 
while also ranking 2nd in hitting at .277 and 7th in homers with 124. 
On the mound they have been decent so far this year as they come in ranked 9th in the league in ERA at 4.10, 
while also ranking 7th in WHIP at 1.27.

The Braves are trying to stay in the race in the National League East, 
but it will not be all that easy for them in this game as they are facing the hottest pitcher 
in baseball at the moment. Max Scherzer is 6-2 in his last eight starts and has an ERA of 
0.90 over that stretch, The Braves put up 29 runs on the Nats the last time they were here, 
but they will not have a good offensive showing in this one. R.A. Dickey is 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA 
in his last three starts, but he is also 1-4 with a 6.08 ERA on the road and the Nats have an offense 
that can do damage against him. 
I look for the Nats to have little trouble in winning this game against a Braves squad 
that is just 4-24 in their last 28 games here at Nationals Park.

마운드는 바어율 4.10으로 9위 WHIP(회당 출루 허용율) 1.27로 7위에 있다.

상대투수인 딕키는 지난 2경기에서 2승 0패 방어율 0.90으로 아주 좋은 피칭을 보였다. 

그러나 원정경기에서는 1승 4패 방어율 6.08을 기록하고 있다.
