The Heat led by six after one quarter and by 12 at the half before putting the game away with a 43-28 edge in the third. Miami shot a blistering 59.1 percent from the field and went 10 of 28 from three point range in the contest. James Johnson had 20 points and five assists to lead eight Heat players in double figures in the win.
The Heat has been mediocre offensively so far this season, ranking 27th in the league with 102.4 points per game. Miami has been below average on the glass as they are 19th with 43 boards per game. Portland shot 49.4 percent from the field and connected on 16 of 39 three point attempts while winning the rebounding battle 46-33. CJ McCollum led the Trail Blazers with 30 points in the win.

The Trail Blazers make it 10 in a row with a triumph here.
