Can The Astros Be Stopped?

The Houston Astros have the best record in the league right now. 
On Tuesday night, they pounded the Braves on the road by a score of 16-4 
and as of then, they have won their last three and 11 of their last 14 games. 
They now have a huge 16 game lead in their division at the halfway mark of the season. 
You can pretty much give them the AL West title now as now one will catch them. 
The Offense for the Astros has been very good overall for the year, 
but even better of late as they have averaged 8.00 rpg in their last eight games 
and have outscored their foes by 136 runs on the season, which is 2nd in the league. 
Boston is playing very well right now, but still, they are not in the class of the Astros. 
The only team that will be able to beat them is the Dodgers in the World Series 
and it really looks like they will be meeting each other there. 
Toeing the rubber for the Astros will be Lance McCullers Jr, 
and he has gone 7-1 with a 2.69 ERA in 15 starts on the year, 
including 1-0 with a 2.60 ERA in his last three starts and 3-1 with a 3.02 ERA 
in eight starts on the road.  

Houston has been a strong offensive team this year so far 
as they come in ranked 1st in the league in scoring, putting up 5.71 rpg, 
while also ranking 1st in hitting at .286 and 1std in homers with 136. 
On the mound they have been very strong so far as they come in ranked 5th 
in the league in ERA at 3.91, while also ranking 3rd in WHIP at 1.22.

The Blue Jays come into this series off a tough set against the Yankees on the road 
and they haven’t really been playing that well of late. 
Prior to their game on Wednesday, they had lost five if their last six games 
and hey had averaged just 2.25 rpg in their previous eight games. 
Their offense has been in a funk and it isn’t likely to get much better in this one 
against Lance McCullers, who has really pitched well this year. 
McCullers has gone 3-1 with a 3.02 ERA on the road this year, 
while Francisco Liriano has gone just 3-2 with 4.62 ERA at home. 
Liriano has really struggled of late with a 6.48 ERA in his last three starts overall 
and a 7.20 ERA in his last four starts at home. Take the Astros in this one.
